It all started many years ago by upsetting all the neighbours when I decided to play the drums! I have always had a fascination for the drums and music was a big part of family life when I was growing up. We would listen to all types of music, from Jazz to The Beatles. I played drums with many bands around Birmingham in the 70s and 80s. I even had a job at “Drumland” in Birmingham selling drums, which gave me the chance to meet some of the top drummers around when they would call in from the Odeon or Town Hall (great days). Eventually I drifted into settling down to raise a family. It was over 20 years later when John McCarthy (a long-standing friend from school) asked me to get involved with MacBand, which I did. I brought along my rhythm partner Mark Schlotel who is just one of the best around on bass to join. From the breakup of MacBand this band Jumpp was formed and all members are close friends with my son on lead guitar. This is a great line-up and I really enjoy the buzz from playing with all these guys. Hope to see you at a gig soon! ...Adrian
